All Lives Matter

Dominique and I have known each other since kindergarten. We've fought like sisters and loved each other like sisters. Our lives have taken us on different journeys and to different places, but we've always managed to stay in contact and see each other whenever possible. This past weekend she drove down to Nashville to visit me after two years of not having been able to get together.

On her first night in town we drove past a wall that had graffiti of a white stick figure and a black stick figure. Above it was written "ALL LIVES MATTER." It's sad how much hatred and discrimination still exists in this day and age - this is our statement photo - we are both different and both have purpose.
