There's a park about 15-20 minutes from my Nashville home that I can easily drive to when I need some fresh air and a quiet place. The following are some photos I took on a hike there with my friend Hannah. We both moved to Nashville around the same time and share a love for the outdoors.

Fresh air and a quiet place...
Having spent the last few years living in a cabin in the woods of Wisconsin, its been a bit strange moving to a place where I step outside my door and am not immediately surrounded by trees much older than I am, and all other kinds of wildlife - however, I adore my large backyard and the birds and crickets that chirp in the warmer months.

A spring hike with Sierra.
A few weeks ago I went for a picnic and a hike with my friend Sierra and her pup. It was a sunny and warm spring day, perfect for spending some time out of doors, tramping through the valley and woods of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.
