My name is Alice. This is a blog for me to post photos from the journeys I take, the people I meet, and the things I do.

Nashville in white.
The last few weeks Nashville has been both blessed & cursed with ridiculous (for the south) amounts of snow and ice. Being from the winter wonderland known as Wisconsin, I've definitely enjoyed seeing everything draped in white. Something new that I noticed this winter - after the first ice storm the trees and branches were thickly coated, and when the breeze would blow them they would clink together, making it seem almost as if nature was offering a toast to the beauty of this season. I've enjoyed the (mostly) mild winter in Tennessee, but I am greatly looking forward to what spring will bring!
